Job Description

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and delivery of program management activities supporting the Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC). This role oversees data tracking, reporting, financial coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure program goals and regulatory requirements are met. The coordinator serves as a key liaison across clinical, pharmacy, research (CRA), and administrative teams to support patient-centered initiatives and program sustainability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer and coordinate one or more programs or projects within the HTC, ensuring alignment with organizational and departmental goals.
  • Define program and project requirements; identify interdependencies across clinical, pharmacy, finance, and external partners; and coordinate input from stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain program communications, project plans, and operational processes.
  • Track key program metrics, including patient enrollment, financial performance, and program outcomes; analyze and interpret complex data to produce reports (e.g., biannual summaries, grant reports, operational dashboards).
  • Manage reporting related to program revenue, including tracking income generated through partnerships (e.g., specialty pharmacy programs) and documenting how funds are reinvested into patient care, education, and program initiatives.
  • Coordinate budget tracking, grant reporting, and financial reconciliation activities in collaboration with finance teams.
  • Facilitate collaboration between physicians, providers, pharmacy partners, and internal teams to support patient treatment programs and operational workflows.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and Clinical Research Associates (CRA) to ensure accurate and timely data submission and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Support planning and execution of internal and external meetings, including annual meetings, regional administrative meetings, and committee meetings with pharmacy partners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and program initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance program efficiency, financial performance, and patient outcomes.
  • Engage with internal program management teams and external vendors/partners to support coordination efforts.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance; role is primarily onsite (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM).
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and institutional objectives.

Minimum Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum requirement: 3+ years of experience in program management delivery.
  • Significant experience working with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Clarity, Planview, MS Office).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with hemophilia care, rare disease programs, or patient populations served by a Hemophilia Treatment Center.
  • Experience managing or supporting healthcare-related programs involving clinical operations, specialty pharmacy partnerships, or patient services.
  • Knowledge of healthcare finance, budgeting processes, and revenue tracking, including experience managing program funds or grant-related budgets.
  • Experience with grant management, including preparation, submission, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and report program performance data, including financial and operational metrics.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with clinical, research, and administrative teams in a healthcare or academic medical setting.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory or data submission processes (e.g., working with research/data management teams such as CRAs).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage physicians, clinical staff, pharmacy partners, and leadership.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, committees, or large-scale program events.
  • Interest in or exposure to patient-centered care and clinical program development.

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $70,720 - $126,880 per year for the role of Hemophilia Treatment Center Program Coordinator.
