Part Time: Senior Compensation Analyst
Job Description
In this role, you will serve as a compensation consultant supporting institutional and cross‑functional initiatives that advance the organization’s compensation strategy. You will provide consultative expertise and analytical support across the organization, including the design, evaluation, and implementation of St. Jude compensation programs, reward strategies, competitive market analyses, equity programs, and related HR initiatives. This position plays a key role in developing new compensation programs and identifying opportunities to enhance existing programs through data‑driven insights, benchmarking, and stakeholder collaboration. As a trusted partner within Human Resources, you will contribute thought leadership, ensure compensation practices are market‑competitive and compliant, and support continuous improvement of tools and processes to promote efficiency, automation, and proactive decision‑making. Opportunities may exist to provide guidance, mentoring, or project leadership to compensation analysts as needed.
Work Schedule:
Must be willing to work 16 hours weekly
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum Experience:
- 4+ years of experience handling compensation activities or 2+ years’ experience in compensation and 2+ years’ experience in HR, Finance or data analytics role.
- Some experience in modeling compensation programs and/or other financial models, preferred.
- Experience supporting audits, surveys and performing complex reporting and analyses.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) including Google Sheets Slides; Experience with Microsoft Access, preferred.
- Proven performance in earlier role.
Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
